Okay, I've read some of her work, but this is the first in this group. I picked it up out of sheer curiousity, since the title reminds me of my story "An Alien's Guide to Abducting a Bride." I've got lot's going on this week, but somewhere in my schedule, I plan to squeeze this in. I want to see what all the talk is about.
The Book is "How to lose an Extraterrestrial in 10 days."
More to follow on this. Looks interesting.

Ooooh, let me know on that. Susan Grant is an author that others have recommended I read, though I don't do Alien Romances, per se.
Haven't picked that one up yet, but it's in my Amazon Wish List. Love the cover on that one. :)
Will let you know. Should get to it some time this week.
I haven't eaven heard of her! Is this another one I need to read?
Flick, you might want to check out her books, too. So many people have recommended her work to me. I feel a little embarassed I haven't had time to get any of her novels read yet, but like I said, Alien Romances aren't really my thing. My Sci-Fi never has aliens. (Did you notice?) Humans have enough variations on a theme, I think. LOL
Oh so sorry for butting in! See, I got this "Google Alert" and came over to discover your blog. Laurie, I won't take up more of your time, but I have to say I ADORE the title of your work-in-progress! You MUST get this published! I also wanted to mention that my aliens are really humans. I explain this in my books but basically it's a "seeding" philosophy wherein an ancient, master human race seeded the galaxy with human DNA. So no sucker-fingers or tentacles on my alien heroes, much to the disappointment of some of my reader-friends!
Happy reading & writing! (Hope you enjoy ET.)
My apologies--DAWN, loved your title.
Oh, now I'll definitely buy one of Susan's books when I get to Orlando next week. I would like Books a Million to open just for me, for a whole day so I can browse to my heart's content. And then let me have everything for free because they liked the look of me. Plus coffee. And cookies. Oh, I'm dreaming again.
Sorry, Susan. I should have said - nice to hear from you!! I wonder if that works if I mention George Clooney?
Oooh George Clooney, George Clooney, George Clooney.
*Crosses fingers and stares at screen*
Damn, its only me again! Where are you George!
Maybe we should list the ten things we love about George? He he.
Will it work!
Alrighty then, Susan, you sold me. :) I like that your aliens are really human. Not I'm very intrigued.
And thanks again for dropping by.
Oh...George? Where are you? Hey, maybe we should say Michael Clayton. MICHAEL CLAYTON! LOL
Oops, that was supposed to be a NOW I'm very intrigued.
Yep, typitis here too.
