Welcome. This blog was started three years ago by four aspiring writers who are now three published authors of novels and short stories (Barbara Elsborg, Dawn Jackson, Arlene Webb) and one multiple award-winning writer (Laurie Green). We blog to keep readers updated on our new releases or other random topics. We hope you enjoy your stay. :] Coffee?

Support this Group.

If you're a writer please take a moment, go to this site and join this loop.
Writers make very little for the blood, sweat and tears we pour into our manuscripts. So you can imagine what it's like to see something we've spent months working on, popping up on an illegal site and being downloaded for free. E-book publishing is on the rise, but so are unscrupulous pirates. This group of authors has banded together to go after these book pirates and their sites to shut them down. If you know of a site, share the link and keep writers, writing.

Joined the petition, not that I think much will come of it. I don't know how the hell you ladies find the time to blog on top of it all. Take care.

I just have to share.
They were sucessful in shutting down a monster illegal site.
This is from a discussion with a group of Ravenous Romance Writers.
Below is a post by one of the writers.

Here's a post from another loop. I told you Siren is fighting hard to get four sites shut down. Now Phaze was just successful at getting one shut down. E-piracy is real and is bound to happen. Here's what some of the publishers are doing about it. Sending cease and desist letters to the server host by quoting the copyright law. They are legally bound to take the sites down. Read the posts below:

Several novels published by Phaze Books are uploaded to your site for illegal distribution. As publisher of Phaze Books, I request that you delete this link and all files made available within.
